It’s pretty obvious that some work is underway on the Town of Taylorsville Sewer System. According to Town Manager David Odom and Public Works Director David Robinette, it’s all part of a major upgrade. Grant money is funding the project which is now the process of cleaning and videoing the sewer pipes for leaks and obstructions. Odom says the “clean and camera” phase will last another two weeks or so. The results of the findings will determine what upgrades will be needed and the work will open for bid. Currently the work is taking place on Main Street and Main Avenue Drive. Most of the residential lines have been analyzed.
