May 16, 2018 By Richard Gilbert

Hildred Boston

A Taylorsville man is in custody after turning himself in Tuesday evening. 24 year old Hildred Boston was identified Tuesday afternoon as a suspect in a rather bizarre hit and run and altercation.

Shortly after 3pm on Tuesday, Taylorsville Police say Boston struck a female with the four wheel vehicle he was operating and punched a man at a location on Meadowridge Drive . Both alleged victims were transported to an area hospital with undisclosed injuries. Taylorsville Police indicate that Boston had been driving the vehicle across the property of the victims. After an exchange, Boston is said to have struck the female and punched the male. A search for Boston was conducted Tuesday and later in the day, he surrendered to authorities. He is charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill- inflicting serious injury. Boston is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center under a $9,500 bond. The investigation continues and more charges are possible according to Taylorsville Police.
