A Taylorsville man is facing a long list of charges following his arrest Tuesday night. 26 year old Jason Dakota Campbell was taken into custody by Newton Police following a chase. Cambell is charged with fleeing to elude arrest with a motor vehicle, reckless driving to endanger, felony possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm by a felon, and a series of traffic offenses. He was also cited for five counts of failure to appear on various charges including possession of marijuana. Campbell was placed in the Catawba County Detention Center under a secured bond of $53,500. He is scheduled to appear before a judge today on some of the charges.
