28-year-old Terry Justin Sherrill of Stony Point and 23-year-old Stephen Edward Keller of Statesville were arrested Wednesday September 14th by Iredell County Sheriff’s Officers. They’re each charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of schedule II and schedule III controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and several traffic related offenses.
The Iredell County Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Team stopped a black GMC truck on Ellenburg Road for several traffic violations. A computer check revealed that both subjects in the vehicle had a lengthy criminal history including weapon and drug charges.
After further investigation, a search of the vehicle was conducted. During the search, Deputies located Crystal Methamphetamine, several prescription pills and multiple items of drug paraphernalia.
Sherrill and Keller were both placed in jail under $10,000 secured bond. They’re each scheduled to appear in Statesville District court on November 7.
