A Mooresville Rescue group saved 14 puppies from the freezing cold temperatures last week in Alexander County.
According to a story Tuesday in THE CHARLOTTE OBSERVER, volunteers with the Long Trails to Happy Dog Rescue came to Alexander County last week and retrieved the animals from the porch of an elderly Alexander County resident. The group according to the report learned of the dogs when they came to Alexander County to pick up a puppy from it’s temporary home.
The Alexander County resident welcomed the group’s help in finding the puppies new homes. Some of the animals have already been adopted.
