A Burke County man is facing multiple counts after being arrested twice in Alexander County in less than a week.
26 year old Jeremy Lewis Leatherman of Connelly Springs was taken into custody by The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office on June 21st. He was charged with felony failure to register as a sex offender. At that time he was placed in the County Detention Center under a $50,000 secured bond. On June 25th, Leatherman was cited for felony sex offender being on premises with children. An additional bond of $30,000 was added according to a release.
Leatherman was scheduled for a court appearance Monday, June 26th in Taylorsville.
