A significant residential and commercial project is coming to the Bethlehem Community.
The Alexander County Board of Commissioners on Monday approved a conditional use permit for development of a parcel off Highway 127. The nine acre tract is currently vacant and located just south of the Mexico Viejo Restaurant. The Ashley Brooke Property Group intends to construct 110-115 single family apartments on the parcel. The project also includes a commercial entity as well. The plan is to develop the project in phases with the initial phase facing Highway 127 and including commercial space at street level and single family units above.
The developer plans to begin construction in 2018.
