A Caldwell County man is facing a list of charges following his arrest by Taylorsville Police.
On Thursday, April 27th officers responded to a report of a domestic dispute on Chevy Drive. A motorcycle operated by 39 year old Jarred Quin Malone of Hudson was spotted blocking the path of another vehicle. It was discovered that Malone had two arrest warrants from Burke County.
After being transported to The Alexander County Detention Center Malone was found to be concealing drugs in his pants and attempting to flush them down the toilet. Fourteen grams of methamphetamine and five grams of marijuana were discovered. Malone was charged with felony attempting to destroy evidence, felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of of a controlled substance on jail premises, and possession of marijuana. Malone was also charged with several traffic offenses according the arrest report.
Malone was placed in the Detention Center under a $75,000 secured bond. He made an initial court appearance Monday, May 1st.
