Brushy Mountain Golf Club in Taylorsville is changing hands.
Former Club Manager Joe Ferguson has negotiated a multi-year lease of the club including Mclindon’s Restaurant, and The Lodges at Brushy Mountain.
Ferguson, from Taylorsville was Manager and Golf Pro at the local club for 35 years prior to his departure in 2015. Ferguson, a Class A PGA Golf Professional is a 1974 graduate of Alexander Central High and North Carolina State University.
An email was sent to past and present club members informing them of the transaction last week. Ferguson announced in the email that a meeting and open forum is scheduled at the club on Tuesday, April 18th at 6:00 pm. The meeting is open to all members past and present and any member of the community interested in the future of the club.
Brushy Mountain Golf Club dates back to 1964 and includes a championship 18 hole golf course and McLindons Restaurant, and the 10 unit Lodges at Brushy Mountain.
