A man and a woman wanted in connection to a Wednesday night homicide in Catawba County are now in custody.
32-year-old James Vincent Rinkines who was identified as a suspect in the murder of 36-year-old Tony Ly, has been arrested in Baltimore, Maryland. His girlfriend, Rose Shutz, has also been arrested. The two were taken into custody this morning by Maryland Transportation Authority Police. They are currently being held in Baltimore.
Wednesday evening, Catawba County Sheriff’s Officers found Mr. Ly shot to death outside a home on Whitener Road, south of Hickory. Rinkines was identified as the suspect.
