An Alexander County 3-Day Road Cleanup has been set for April 6th, 7th, and 8th. The event is sponsored by the Bethlehem Community Development Association, Catawba Valley Community College, Alexander County Schools, and Alexander County.
Supplies, bags, vests, and gloves will be available at a number of pickup locations. Supplies can be picked up on Thursday, April 6 and Friday, April 7 during school hours at ACHS, CVCC, Alexander Early College, Bethlehem Elementary School, Hiddenite Elementary School, West Alexander Middle School, Stony Point Elementary School, Sugar Loaf Elementary School, Ellendale Elementary School, and the Hiddenite Arts & Heritage Center. Supplies can be picked up on Saturday, April 8 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Bethlehem Elementary School, Hiddenite Arts & Heritage Center, and Taylorsville Fire Department.
The organizers encourage civic groups, churches, organizations, neighborhoods, and businesses to participate in this three-day event to help make Alexander County clean again.
