An Alexander County man charged with murder had a bond hearing postponed by a judge on Monday. 36 year old Jason Dean Clary was arrested April 11th following the fatal shooting of a man in his driveway in Eastern Alexander County. 35 year old Travis Harold of Hiddenite died after being shot with a rifle owned by the suspect. Clary was charged by the Alexander County Sheriffs Office following the incident. Clary told reporters he shot Harold in self defense. The judge Monday cited a possible conflict of interest and set the bond hearing for Tuesday in Taylorsville. Clary has been held in the Alexander County Detention Center without bond since his arrest.
