Investigators from the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office responded to an Assault with a Knife Monday to a residence located on Heritage View Road in the Bethlehem Community. The Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call at approximately 4:58 PM. Officers responded and found there were a total of (3) three victims that had been cut. The report states that the suspect, Trinity Shane WARREN, 34 years old of Hickory, had gone to the victim’s residence. An altercation ensued and three victims were assaulted. According to the report, Mr. WARREN had arrived at the residence uninvited. Alexander County EMS transported one of the victims to Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory. The other two victims went by private vehicle to the Hospital. Officers from the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office arrested Mr. WARREN at the scene and transported him to the Alexander County Detention Center where he was charged with Assault with a Deadly Weapon, with the Intent to Kill, Inflicting Serious Injury. Mr. WARREN is currently being held under a $175,000.00 Secured Bond. Other charges may be pending in this case that is still being investigated.
New Details: Alexander County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Todd Jones said Tuesday that at least two shots were fired by at least one of the victims of the assault. The suspect was not hit. The 3 victims are identified only as a male and 2 females. They were treated and released from the hospital.
