More than 700 voters cast a ballot on the first day on Early Voting in Bethlehem on Monday.
For the first time this election the One Stop Early Voting option was available in Stony Point and Bethlehem and the voters turned out at a brisk clip in Bethlehem. 751 ballots were counted at the Bethlehem Fire and Rescue Station and 149 at the Former Energy United Building in Stony Point. 440 voters cast a ballot at the Board of Elections Office in Taylorsville on Monday as well.
So far 7,397 citizens have voted early in the 2016 Election which represents 30 % of the County’s registered voters.
One Stop Voting continues at all three locations today. The Bethlehem and Stony Point sites will be open 10 am-6pm while the Board of Elections Office will be open 8am-5pm.
Early Voting will conclude Saturday at all three sites Saturday with hours of 8am-1pm.
