An Alexander County man is facing multiple charges after a chase involving Taylorsville Police and The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office.
On Saturday, September 2nd, Taylorsville Officers attempted to stop a vehicle on US Highway 64. The driver failed to stop despite authorities activating both lights and sirens. The driver crashed his vehicle on Golden Pond Lane and was found attempting to hide in a creek bed. The suspect was not injured and taken into custody according to the arrest report.
44 year old Chad Vance Hill of Mt Hebron Church Road, Taylorsville was charged by Taylorsville Police with felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession with intent to sell methamphetamine, felony larceny by employee, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving with license revoked. Hill was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $40,000. He is scheduled to make a court appearance on Monday, September 11th.
