Hickory Police responded to a robbery at the Members Credit Union on Monday at approximately 4:30 p.m., according to a press release.
A man entered the bank located at 2142 12th Ave. NE, in Hickory. He approached the counter displaying a handgun and demanded money, according to the release.
After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, he exited the business and fled on foot.
The suspect is an early 20s, white male, 5 feet 6 inches tall, with a stocky build and weighs around 250 pounds, according to the release. He was wearing a royal blue shirt, black jogging pants, black rimmed glasses, a fake beard, backpack and hat.
