Joe Paterno was fired as Football Coach at Penn State this day in 2011. He was fired as result of a sex charge investigation against a former Assistant Coach, Jerry Sandusky. Sandusky was convicted and sentenced to prison. Paterno would die two months later

Whew ! The election is over, the ballots are counted, some are happy, and some are sad. I must say that I was a little surprised that the ABC vote passed as significantly as it did. I felt it would pass because people were energized and saw it as a way to help the local tax base. It sure won’t solve the budget crisis though, it’s a start.
I guess the Presidential race was a surprise although recent polls showed Trump gaining. At the end of the day it seems to me that the voters just did not trust Clinton.
Now that the offices are settled and the votes counted I wonder how long it will be before the next campaign begins. Speaking for myself, this election made me tired. I never paid much attention to the nutty social media posts. Some people should be ashamed of what they posted and even more, what they apparently believe.
