It’s been more than 72 hours since a Taylorsville teen was found shot to death and still there are far more questions than answers. The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office, Taylorsville Police, and Alexander EMS responded around 1am Monday to a residence on Will Wilson Lane. A 17 year old identified as Jeremy Law was deceased as the result of a gunshot wound. For two days, B86 Radio and 860wacb.com were the only media outlets covering the story.Even to this point the Sheriff’s Office is being very tight lipped about the investigation. They have said that another teen and an adult female were present at the time of the shooting. They have not offered much more, other than an autopsy was performed Wednesday. Chief Deputy Todd Jones says the “autopsy confirmed for the most part what was suspected.” Jones said that investigators will meet with the District Attorney today and it will be their decision as to how to proceed with the case.
Law had graduated with honors from Alexander Central High last Friday.
